Nutritional Medicine – Integrative Life Coaching – Pain Coaching

I believe that our bodies possess the innate wisdom and ability to heal. My role as an integrative practitioner is to inform and empower you, to illuminate the path, to assist you in peeling back the layers and overcoming obstacles, and to reflect and quantify your progress. I also believe that Mindbody is one. And in order to heal, we sometimes need to look beyond the physical.

I employ an integrative, personalised, science-based approach that aims to identify and assist you with addressing the root causes of health issues. Food, environment and lifestyle are important tools for restoring and promoting optimal health and maintaining balance in the body. So are mindset, beliefs and emotions. I integrate my Coaching training with Nutritional Medicine, looking at the whole mindbody.

When working with me you can expect:

Personalised Approach: Each person’s path to optimal health is different based on their unique physiological and psycho-emotional characteristics. I take a full history of an individual’s lifestyle, environment, personal and family health history, and current symptoms when creating a tailored plan.

Identifying Root Causes: My aim is to uncover and assist you in addressing the underlying causes of health issues rather than simply resolving symptoms. This involves a comprehensive functional assessment of the whole mindbody and its systems.

Dietary Modifications: Food is medicine and perhaps the single most important factor in disease and health. Consuming whole, nutrient-rich foods is important for providing the body with the necessary vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. In some instances, it may be necessary to incorporate a specific therapeutic diet for conditions like autoimmune disorders or gastrointestinal issues.

Nutritional Supplementation: Supplements may be recommended to address specific nutritional deficiencies or support the body’s natural healing processes. These could include vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, or other targeted nutritional interventions.

Lifestyle Recommendations: Beyond nutrition, lifestyle factors such as exercise, sleep, stress management, toxin exposure and relationships are considered vital to overall health. Recommendations for lifestyle modifications are incorporated into the overall therapeutic plan.

Functional Testing: Advanced laboratory testing such as comprehensive stool analysis, DNA testing, hair tissue mineral analysis, or blood tests may be employed to assess biomarkers, nutrient and hormone levels, and other factors that provide insights into an individual’s health status. These tests can help guide the development of personalised nutritional and lifestyle interventions.

Integrative Life Coaching: Most of our limits exist within our own thoughts. You can start over at any time. As a trained Life Coach, I can provide a safe space for my clients to explore what is holding them back and assist them in finding the path to achieving their goals, health-related or other.

Pain Coaching: Pain is in the brain. Mindbody is one word. Dr John Sarno put forward the idea that stress and unconscious emotions are linked to chronic pain and fatigue. I have completed training with Dr. Schubiner and Hal Greenam to provide effective neuroplasticity treatment for a number of chronic pain conditions.
