Coaching is a professional partnership in which a coach supports and guides a person (the coachee) in achieving personal or professional goals. The process involves a collaborative, reflection-provoking, and creative dialogue through which the coach helps the coachee identify their objectives, build confidence, unlock their potential and develop strategies for achieving desired outcomes.

I integrate my coaching training into my nutrition practice to assist you in building lasting habits for optimal health and to offer a safe space where you as a client can explore what is holding you back. Very much like nutritional therapy, coaching is tailored to the individual’s needs, values, and strengths. The coach listens, asks powerful questions, and provides insights to help the client find their own solutions and make informed decisions.

Pain Coaching: Pain is in the brain. Mindbody is one word. Dr John Sarno put forward the idea that stress and unconscious emotions are linked to chronic pain and fatigue. I have completed training with Dr. Schubiner and Hal Greenam to provide effective neuroplasticity treatment for a number of chronic pain conditions. Dr. Schubiner is a pioneer in the field of mindbody medicine and chronic pain recovery, advocating that many cases of chronic pain are rooted in emotional, psychological, and neurological factors rather than purely physical issues. By helping clients explore the emotional roots of their pain, reframe their relationship with their body, and use neuroplasticity to retrain their brain, this method provides a path to long-term relief and healing without relying on medication or invasive treatments.

If you wish to explore the science behind the mindbody connection to chronic pain, see the following articles:
